Beyond the Box:  Arkansas  63 - SIUE 41

PLAYERS OF THE GAME: in the final regular season game of her career, senior Quistelle Williams had a strong game, displaying a strong shooting touch. Williams hit a career high in three pointers in the first half, making three, and finished the game with 11 points. Another senior, leading scorer Sarah Watkins, also had a strong game for UA, finishing with game high 17, while Erin Gatling scored 14 points.

PLAY OF THE GAME: Early in the game, the Razorbacks got off to a quick start. With an 8-0 lead, Calli Berna stole the ball at the top of the arc. She fed a long pass down the court, leading Keira Peak on a perfect fast break to push Arkansas' lead into double digits.

TURNING POINT OF THE GAME: Arkansas played the game at their pace, and had control of the game from the opening tip. As SIU-Edwardsville missed their first seven shots from the field, the Razorbacks jumped out to a 12-0 lead before the first SIUE basket, and extended that lead to 19-4 eleven minutes through the first half.

STATS OF THE GAME: The Razorbacks played strong defense against the OVC opponent. Arkansas forced 23 turnovers, and held the Cougars to just 34 percent shooting from the floor. The Razorbacks also outscored SIUE 28-22 in the paint, and 37-1 in bench scoring.
