Gymnastics rankings for SEC Championships

FAYETTEVILLE - The University of Arkansas gymnastics team (6-7-1, 1-4-1 SEC), moved  a spot in the Gyminfo Women’s Gymnastics National top 25 rankings to No. 16, after picking up a 196.600   in the team’s final regular season meet of the year at UCLA. Current rankings are based on a team’s regional qualifying score, and the Razorbacks have a 196.285.

In the event rankings, Arkansas is No. 11 on the floor, No. 13 on the bars, No. 15 on the vault and No. 23 on the beam.

Individually, Katherine Grable is ranked No. 13 in the all-around competition, No. 17 on the vault, No. 21 on the floor and junior Shelby Salmon stays in the rankings  on the bars tied for No. 21 on the event.

Arkansas returns to competition Saturday Mar. 23, in Little Rock, Ark., for the 2013 SEC gymnastics Championships. Session I has a scheduled start time of 2 p.m. central.
