Urbana, Ill. - The Arkansas men's tennis doubles pair of Manfred Jeske and Mike Nott fell to the No. 3 ranked doubles team from Ole Miss of Nik Scholtz and Jonas Lutjen in three sets Friday afternoon in the round of 16 of the NCAA Doubles Championships.

"I am very proud of these guys," head coach Robert Cox said. "They came out here today and gave it all they had. After dropping the first set they really battled back to take the second, we just couldn't finish in the third unfortunately, but they have had a great season and should be very proud."

Arkansas dropped the first set 6-4 to Ole Miss in the round of 16. The Rebels broke Jeske and Nott twice in the first set. The Hogs tried to recover taking one break point, but could not break the No.3 team while they were serving for the set.

Jeske and Nott responded in the second set taking an early break point from Ole Miss and eventually allowing Jeske to serve for the 6-3 win to force a third set for the match.

The duo started off slow in the third set allowing Ole Miss to break them on first serve, but battled back holding serve and eventually bringing the score to 5-3 with Ole Miss serving for the match. The Rebels went on to take the third set 6-3.

Jeske and Nott finish their junior campaigns with a doubles record of 11-12 while also being the first doubles team since 2009 to make it to the NCAA tournament.
