FAYETTEVILLE - University of Arkansas women's tennis head coach Michael Hegarty announced the team's 2013 fall schedule Tuesday. The Razorbacks will compete in nine events this fall, including playing host to their own Razorback Classic.

The season begins Sept. 20-22, with select Razorbacks competing at either the Little Rock Classic in Little Rock, Ark., or the William & Mary Tribe Invitational in Williamsburg, Va.

Arkansas will have another dual-event weekend, Sept. 27-29, with select Razorbacks competing at either the Colorado Invitational in Boulder, Colo., or at the Riviera Pre-Qualifiers held in Los Angeles. Riviera competition is known to showcase some of the nation's best athletes and high level collegiate tennis.

The Razorbacks remain home, Oct. 4-6, to host the Razorback Classic in Fayetteville. This marks the second consecutive season that Arkansas will host the home event.

National competition resumes the following weekend, as Arkansas sends athletes to the USTA NTC Classic in New York. Select Razorbacks will also compete at the ITA Central Regional Championship in Norman, Okla., Oct. 18-21.

"The Fall schedule will provide us with excellent preparation for our championship season in the spring," Coach Hegarty said. "The Riviera All-American and the Central Region Championships are always highlights and we will get great match play across the board."

Arkansas wraps up its fall season during the month of November, first travelling to Houston for the Houston Cougar Invitational, Nov. 1-3, then heading to the ITA Indoor Nationals in New York, Nov. 7-10.
