FAYETTEVILLE - University of Arkansas head football coach Bret Bielema met with the media on Monday to recap last weekend's game with Texas A&M and preview the team's upcoming road matchup against Florida.

Coach Bielema was impressed by the spirit of the Razorbacks and the positives that took place during last Saturday's game against the Aggies in Fayetteville.

"I told our guys after the game, 'We're not there yet, but this climb to the top of the mountain has been a lot of fun,'" Coach Bielema said. "'When we get to the top, it's going to be really fun to know what you did.'"

What also impressed Coach Bielema was the poise and composure of Brandon Allen in his return at quarterback for Arkansas last Saturday.

"The thing that I was really engaged about was I saw a feisty, aggressive, angry, competitive young man Saturday night that can win a lot of football games," Coach Bielema said.

Heading back out onto the road this week and facing another tough conference opponent in the Gators, Coach Bielema said the Razorbacks already have their minds focused on the next challenge ahead.

"It's a big week this week," Coach Bielema said. "It's the second week in the SEC and we play Florida at their home turf. We haven't beat Florida in SEC play, so it's an opportunity to do something that's never been done here. It's exciting for our guys and I think they got some mojo out of last week."

Kickoff for Saturday's SEC road contest against Florida at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, Fla., is scheduled for 6 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN2.

Single-game tickets for the South Carolina and Auburn games in Fayetteville and the Mississippi State game in Little Rock on Nov. 23 are on sale.
