FAYETTEVILLE – The University of Arkansas men’s tennis team will take on the top competition in the Central Region at the ITA Regional Championship beginning Thursday.

All 10 members of the team will compete at the tournament, which will run through Sunday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Okla. The student-athletes will compete as singles as well as in doubles pairs.

Seniors Mike Nott and Manfred Jeske recently competed at another ITA event, the All-American Championship also held in Tulsa, finishing with a 1-1 doubles record.

“We are excited to play against the competition in the Central Region,” head coach Andy Jackson said. “There will be many opportunities for us to see how we stand against some top-25 teams.”

Arkansas joins 16 other schools in the central regional including Bradley, Creighton, Drake, Iowa, Minnesota, University of Missouri-Kansas City, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, St. Louis University, South Dakota State, Southern Illinois-Carbondale, Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, Tulsa, Western Illinois and Wichita State.

Live stats can be found at TulsaHurricane.com. A full recap and updated bracket will be available at the end of each day of competition at ArkansasRazorbacks.com.
