FAYETTEVILLE – University of Arkansas sophomore Regina Plasencia
finished the fall with the lowest stroke average for women’s golf in the Southeastern Conference leading the @RazorbackWGolf team to the top spot in the stats this week.
Plasenica, a Guadalajara, Mexico, native, finished the four fall events with a 70.91 stroke average, .08 better than the second place spot. Teammate sophomore Garbriela Lopez is third with a 71.18 stroke average while senior Emily Tubert
is fifth with a 71.91 mark.
Senior Emma Lavy
ranks 15th in the SEC with a 73.55 stroke average while freshman Summar Roachell
is 29th overall and seventh among league freshman with a 74.91 average.
As a team the Razorbacks lead the SEC with a 71.48 average for individuals and a 285.91 team stroke average through the four fall events. The Razorbacks posted four top-10 finishes including one team title.
