FAYETTEVILLE – The University of Arkansas men’s basketball game with Clemson is set for 1 p.m. and the women’s showdown with Northwestern State scheduled for 7 p.m. at Bud Walton Arena, tomorrow, Saturday, Dec. 7. As a courtesy to students on campus and in the area affected by the winter weather conditions, the Athletic Department is offering free admission to both games.

University of Arkansas students will be admitted by showing their UA student ID card at the east entrance of Bud Walton Arena.  Student seating will be located in the regular student sections located in the southeast corner of the arena on the lower level.  Based on the number of students in attendance, the student section may be expanded into other areas of the arena.  Specific seating instructions for students will be provided be Event Management upon arrival.

In addition to free admission for University of Arkansas students at the men’s game against Clemson, Razorback Athletics will also be providing a free slice of Pizza Hut Pizza to the first 1,200 in attendance as well as 2,000 free Scantron forms (one per student) upon exit from the game.  All-access pass holders will be permitted priority to the lower bowl first.  Non-access pass holders will be directed to the upper deck initially.  If seats are available in the lower bowl, students seated in the upper deck will be invited to move down by the Event Staff.

The Razorback Athletic Department strongly encourages all students and fans to use their best judgment in regards to determining their attendance at Saturday's game. Fans planning to make their way to Bud Walton Arena should allow extra time and proceed with caution when traveling to and from the facility as well as when walking around, to and from the building.
