FAYETTEVILLE -- Hosting four dual matches over the weekend, the No. 49 University of Arkansas women's tennis team (3-1) returns to action hosting No. 63 North Texas (0-3) for a 5 p.m. dual match Friday at the George M. Billingsley Tennis Center in Fayetteville, Ark.

The Razorbacks look to continue building early-season momentum and take care of business at home, as they also welcome Southern Illinois, No. 31 Oklahoma State and Oral Roberts to Fayetteville over the course of the weekend.

Off to a 3-1 start for the second straight season, Arkansas opened the spring with a pair of dual-match victories in a doubleheader against Missouri Valley Conference powerhouse Wichita State. The Razorbacks earned their first victory against a ranked opponent this season and defeated No. 55 Kansas State last Friday at ITA Kickoff Weekend.

No. 4 Georgia handed the Razorbacks their first loss in the Round of 32 at ITA Kickoff Weekend.

North Texas is looking for its first dual-match win this season, entering with an 0-3 record so far this season. The Mean Green are currently enduring a gauntlet of stiff competition, having already faced No. 6 USC, No. 28 Oklahoma and No. 59 University of Utah, and now taking on No. 49 Arkansas.

Arkansas holds a 6-2 all-time record over North Texas, with the last meeting taking place during the 2011-12 season. The series between the two programs began in the 1980-81 season.
