MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Arkansas opened the weekend with a 4-3 victory over Wisconsin-Green Bay Saturday.
For the first time since hosting Mercer at home, the Razorbacks swept doubles play and won the doubles point. Senior Mike Nott and freshman Johan den Toom defeated Tenzer/Scott 6-3, seniors Hall Fess and Pete Thomason came out on top against Leto/Tebon 6-3 and junior Jovan Parlic and sophomore Santiago Munoz beat Islinger/Isaaks 6-4.
Leading Green Bay 1-0 heading into singles play, the Razorbacks delivered three more wins and finished victorious on the first day in Minnesota. Nott recorded his fourth win of the season at the No. 1 position, downing Tenzer 6-2, 6-4. Senior Christian Lee defeated Leto 6-0, 6-5 (6), at the No. 4 position. Den Toom notched his second victory at the No. 6 position, beating Isaaks 6-2, 6-3.
Arkansas will be back in action at 1 p.m. today as they take on the University of Minnesota (3-2). The last time these two teams met in 2013, Arkansas came away the victors.
