Men's Track and Field Steady at No. 1 in USTFCCCA Rankings

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark - For the third-consecutive week, the Arkansas men's track and field team is ranked No. 1 in the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Rankings, released on Tuesday.

The men have won all three meets so far this season, boasting several top-NCAA performances. The Razorbacks have combined for nine current top-ten finishes this season, including NCAA defending champion Kevin Lazas with the top heptathlon score with 5,923 points which he achieved at the Razorback Invitational over the weekend. Raymond Higgs tied the No. 1 long jump mark in the nation, recording a mark of 25-10 at the Razorback Invite.

The Razorbacks will send a several athletes to Albuquerque this weekend to compete at New Mexico before returning to Randal Tyson Track Center to host the Tyson Invitational February 14-15.
