FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Following a top-place finish at the Razorback Team Invitational over the weekend, the University of Arkansas women's track and field team moves up to No. 6 in United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) rankings.

The Razorbacks defeated six of the nation's top-ranked teams over the weekend in record fashion to move up in this week's rankings. The women currently rank nine performances in the NCAA's top-ten.

Grace Heymsfield’s mile performance took down the previous school record set at the 2012 SEC Championships and pushed the Razorbacks past No 3 ranked Texas A&M to win the Razorback Invitational. Heymsfield earned a first-place finish with a time of 4:34.22, good for a new University of Arkansas record and second-best time in the nation. Dominique Scott was close behind with a second-finish in 4:36.11, a personal record for the junior and third-best finish in the country this season.

Several athletes will travel to New York this weekend for the Armory Collegiate Invitational before returning to Randal Tyson Track Center to host the Tyson Invitational February 14-15.
