FAYETTEVILLE - Dates have been set for the 2014 University of Arkansas volleyball summer camps as head coach Robert Pulliza and staff hosts their sixth camp season in Fayetteville. Divided among a variety of specialty sessions, the Razorback volleyball camps are designed to help players and team improve and prepare for their respective upcoming seasons.

The camp season begins June 30-July 2 with the Lil' Back Camp, a three-day camp intended for younger players from 4th-7th grade. This commuter camp is designed for campers to learn the basics of the game of volleyball. Sessions will run from 9-11:30 a.m. each day.

The summer continues July 7-9 with the All-Skills Camp for players from 8th-12th grade. This three-day camp is for players looking to specialize and develop their individual skills. Campers will be challenged in all aspects of the game by focusing on all fundaments of attacking, blocking, defense, passing, serving and setting. To provide a competitive environment, players will be grouped with others of similar skill levels and age range.

There will be three camp sessions dedicated to team development. The first of three Team Camp dates is scheduled for July 10-12 and is open to JV and Varsity teams. The second session, held July 14-16, is for Varsity teams only. The final session, a one-day camp set up for Junior High teams, will be held July 19.

These camps will give each team the opportunity to train and prepare together for the upcoming season while developing on-court chemistry. After the scrimmage and practice schedule, the team camps will end with a tournament. Each team must have a minimum of nine players and be accompanied by a coach.

The Razorbacks will also host a one-day Position Camp which is scheduled for July 13. This camp gives individuals the focused training at their specific position, whether they specialize at middle blocker, libero/defensive specialist, outside hitter or setter.
