FAYETTEVILLE - The University of Arkansas softball team begins its home schedule Thursday with two games to mark the beginning of the Arkansas Invitational which runs through Sunday. The Razorbacks (2-3) open their home slate at 3:30 p.m. (CT) against Jackson State and follow with another game at 6 p.m. against Butler. All of Arkansas' games will be streamed live online through RazorVision. An updated schedule is listed below.

Arkansas owns a 15-1 combined record against the field at the Arkansas Invitational with game advantages of 3-0 against Butler, 4-0 against Jackson State and 8-1 against UMKC. The Razorbacks will be playing St. John's for the first time. The field originally included North Carolina State who had to cancel due to inclement weather and hazardous travel conditions.

The Razorbacks registered six home runs during the season-opening weekend in Las Vegas, led by two round trippers by junior transfer Kasey Fagan in her first action at Arkansas after redshirting in 2013. She also leads the team and tied for seventh in the SEC with eight RBI. The team also picked up home runs from Claire Clark, Amanda Geile, Clarisa Navarro and Parker Pocklington. The shot by Pocklington was a grand slam against San Diego.

Geile and Navarro are now tied with fellow seniors Chloe Oprzedek and Jennifer Rambo for eighth place on the program's career list with 16 home runs each. Junior Devon Wallace drew seven walks from her lead-off position and now has 139 career free passes, 45 shy of the SEC's all-time record. Wallace is also just two shy of scoring the 100th run of her career. Junior Kimmy Beasley needs 19 strikeouts to reach 300 in her career.

During the season, UA students and fans 17 years and younger get into all Arkansas softball games for free with valid ID. General admission tickets are $4 while tickets for groups of 10 or more are $1 at the ticket window. Season tickets for the 2014 campaign are still available for $45 in addition to opportunity for fans to rent suites at Bogle Park during the year.
