ATHENS, Ga. – Arkansas qualified swimmers in all three swimming events during the third day of SEC Championships at the University of Georgia in Athens, Ga. Six swimmers also swam personal-best times during the morning session.

Junior Susanna White (Forest, Va.) crept up on the Arkansas record books again by swimming a season-best NCAA ‘B’ cut time of 53.55 in the 100 butterfly, the third-fastest time in Arkansas history. Freshmen Anna Williams (Naperville, Ill.) and Katie Kearbey (Nevada, Mo.) and senior Shelby Cox (Little Rock, Ark.) each swam personal-best times in the 100 butterfly. Williams cut 0.39 seconds off her previous best with a time of 56.21, and Kearbey’s swim of 57.35 shaved off 0.72 seconds from her previous record. Cox swam a 57.63, which was 0.39 seconds under her previous best time.

Junior Lauren Jordan (Carmel, Ind.) led the Razorbacks in the 200 freestyle, posting a season-best NCAA ‘B’ cut time of 1:47.11. Sophomore Maddie Monroe (Godfrey, Ill.) followed closely behind with a personal-best NCAA ‘B’ time of 1:47.68. Monroe’s swim was 1.21 seconds faster than her previous personal-best time. Both swimmers qualified for tonight’s finals. Freshmen Leia Bates (San Antonio, Texas) and Aiden Lister (Toowoomba, Australia) also picked up personal-best swims in the event. Bates dropped 1.77 seconds from her personal record and Lister improved her time by an impressive 3.99 seconds.

Senior Julia Kucherich (York, Pa.) was the lone Razorback competing in the 400 individual medley prelims. Kucherich qualified for tonight’s finals with an NCAA ‘B’ cut time of 4:18.38.

On the diving side, sophomore Shelby Bartlett (Noblesville, Ind.) led the Razorbacks with a career-best score of 301.50 in the three-meter diving prelims event. All three Razorback divers earned NCAA zone-qualifying scores.
