FAYETTEVILLE – Five swimmers will represent the University of Arkansas at the Bulldog Invitational Last Chance Meet at the University of Georgia in Athens, Ga. Razorbacks will be competing in events Saturday and Sunday. Attendees include juniors Julia Banach (Eilat, Israel) and Lauren Jordan (Carmel, Ind.), sophomores Nina Drolc (Velenje, Slovenia) and Rachel Stoehr (Lake Forest, Ill.) and freshman Aiden Lister (Toowoomba, Australia).

"We are always looking to do things we have never done before," head coach Sean Schimmel said. "This weekend gives us a great opportunity for these five women to accomplish that. If the end result puts them in a situation to continue into the post season with our other women going to NCAAs, then that is even better."

The meet serves as an opportunity for Razorbacks to record NCAA ‘A’ and ‘B’ cut times before NCAA selections. Prelims will begin at 9 a.m. CT, and finals will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sunday. Live results will be available on ArkansasRazorbacks.com.

The NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships will be held March 20-22 in Minneapolis, Minn.

Most recently, the Razorbacks claimed sixth place out of 12 teams at the SEC Championships held Feb. 18-22 at the University of Georgia in Athens, Ga. Over the course of the five-day championship meet, the Razorbacks marked 40 personal records, broke eight school records and clocked 10 record-breaking swims, recorded 42 NCAA 'B' cut swims and ended the meet with an NCAA ‘A’ qualification time in the 400-yard freestyle relay.

A 90-minute highlight show of the women’s SEC Championships will air on ESPNU on Monday at 2 p.m.
