FAYETTEVILLE – Director of Student-Athlete Development and Arkansas men's basketball legend Scotty Thurman is returning to Twitter and is asking Razorback fans to pick his new Twitter handle.

Famous for “The Shot”, a three-point jumper that put Arkansas ahead to win the National Championship in 1994 against Duke, Thurman returned to Arkansas in 2010 to join the coaching staff and work with student-athletes in the classrom and the community.

Thurman has become known by @RazorbackMBB followers for another shot: his half-court, under-hand efforts that find their way into the basket more often than not.

Razorback fans are encouraged to submit their ideas for Thurman’s Twitter handle by tweeting at @RazorbackMBB and using the hashtag #ThurmanReturns. Submissions will be taken until 2 p.m. on Tuesday and the winner will be announced upon the team’s arrival in Atlanta for the SEC Tournament later that day.
