FAYETTEVILLE -- The final week of the regular season will be an important one for the No. 50 Arkansas women's tennis team, as it travels to face No. 58 LSU in Baton Rouge, La., on Saturday.

MATCH NOTES: ARKANSAS
The University of Arkansas women’s tennis team dropped a pair of home SEC matches over the weekend, but blanked Louisiana Tech on Friday to bring its record to 13-14, 2-10 SEC. The final week of the regular season will be an important one for the Razorbacks as they travel to Baton Rouge, La., for their final SEC match of the regular season against LSU on Saturday. UA will also play Jackson State on Saturday

MATCH NOTES: LSU
The LSU women’s tennis team went 1-2 this past week as they hosted a non-conference match with Tulane and conference matches against Tennessee and Georgia. On Wednesday, Ella Taylor fell behind early in the first set, but the sophomore captured a victory to clinch the match as the Lady Tigers topped Tulane 4-2. On Friday, LSU dropped a heartbreaking 4-3 decision to Tennessee. The Lady Tigers fell behind early but rallied to tie the score at 3-3. Noel Scott fell on court two as Tennessee clinched the match. LSU fell 4-0 against Georgia on Sunday in a round of singles matches. Doubles were not played against Georgia due to the threat of inclement weather.
