Series History
Arkansas leads the all-time series with Vanderbilt 27-22, including a 14-9 record against the Commodores in Fayetteville. The Razorbacks have not played Vanderbilt since the 2011 season when the two teams matched up four times and the Commodores picked up three wins. VU has been ranked in the top 20 in each of the last eight meetings.

Fisher Heating Up
Eric Fisher found his stride at the plate in a three-game series at LSU last weekend, homering in all three contests to take the team lead with five home runs. He extended his hitting streak to four games with a single in his first at-bat against Stephen F. Austin and currently has the longest hit-streak on the team.

Powerful Trend
After hitting nine home runs through the first 32 games of the season, Arkansas has hit seven home runs in the last six games. The Razorbacks have hit multiple home runs in two of the last six games and connected with two grand slams this season.

Twice as Nice
The Razorbacks turned five double plays in three games at LSU last weekend to bring the season total to an SEC-leading 37. Arkansas has registered a double play in 22 of the team's 38 games and turned multiple double plays in a game 12 different times.

Wiser Than Most
Jake Wise has turned into a nightmare for opponent behind the plate with an SEC-leading five pickoffs and 12 caught stealing. He threw out three of the four attempted base stealers in the three-game series at LSU and added one more Tuesday against Stephen F. Austin.

Major Success
Mike Bosinger, a right handed pitcher in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization, was called up to the big leagues Monday morning, giving Arkansas seven current players in Major League Baseball. The seven current players in the MLB leads the SEC and ranks No. 8 in the country.

This Date in History
Arkansas is 541-363 all-time during the month of April and the Razorbacks have never had a losing record in April since Van Horn took over the program in 2003.

Legendary Pitching Staff
The Arkansas pitching staff is putting together one of the most dominant seasons in program history in 2014, amassing a 2.43 earned run average through the first 38 games to rank 15 nationally. The seven shutouts already rank in the top 10 for a single season, with the record being set with 13 shutouts in 51 games during the 1977 season. The 2.43 ERA currently ranks second in program history, sitting only behind a 1.89 ERA in 61 games last season.
