FAYETTEVILLE - The Arkansas men's tennis head coach Andy Jackson announced the addition of three student-athletes to the 2014-15 class on Tuesday.

Giammarco Micolani joined the Razorbacks in January but will begin competition in January 2015 after redshirting his first year. Micolani began playing tennis just five years ago but has picked up a number of accolades, including four tournament championships as an under 16 and under 14 doubles championship in his native Italy. Most recently, Micolani was a semifinalist in the Venezuela Cup grade 1 and champion of the Czech Republic grade 2 as an under 18. He is the son of Lucetto Micolani and has a brother Daniele, who is a tennis coach.

David Herrerias, a native of Spain, will be immediately eligible and begin play for the Razorbacks this fall. Herrerias was ranked third nationally as an under 14 and seventh as an under 15 player.

Finally, Branch Terrell of Benton, Arkansas, will round out the class of 2014-15. Terrell is the second ranked player in the state of Arkansas and finds himself ranked #235 currently.

Arkansas finished its 2014 season with a 13-16 record, including a top 15 victory over #15 Florida at home. The Razorbacks recorded their best league record in over five years under first year head coach Andy Jackson and Nestor Briceno.
