77 Student-Athletes honored by SEC

FAYETTEVILLE- Seventy-seven Arkansas student-athletes from baseball, golf, softball, tennis, track and field earned selection to the Southeastern Conference spring honor roll, the league office announced.
Men's track and field led the way with 22 student-athletes being honored followed by women's track and field with 17. Softball added 11 to the list while men's tennis contributed eight. Men's golf placed six on the list followed by women's tennis with five, and baseball and women's golf with four each.\
"Congratulations to the more than 75 Razorback spring sport student-athletes who were recognized by the Southeastern Conference for their outstanding academic performance," Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Jeff Long said. "Fostering student-athlete academic achievement and advancement toward graduation is an integral part of fulfilling our mission as a department. We are proud that so many of our student-athletes are succeeding in the classroom while competing in their respective sports."
