2012 || INDOOR: Ellingsen scored points toward the team total at the SEC Championships with a fourth-place finish in the high jump, ending the meet with a final clearance of 7-1. He opened the year with a victory at the Arkansas-Texas Dual meet and later established a personal-best clearance of 7-3 with a third-place finish at the Tyson Invitational. OUTDOOR: With his work during the season, Ellingsen was a qualifier for the NCAA West Preliminary in the high jump. At the SEC Championships, he was sixth with a final clearance of 7.05. He captured his lone win of the season with a season-high 7-1.75 performance at the Drake Relays. For his work in the classroom, Ellingsen earned a spot on the SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll.

2011 || INDOOR: Ellingsen cleared 6-6.75 in the high jump at the Tyson Invitational to open the season with a seventh-place finish. At the SEC Championships, he scored for the team with a sixth-place result and a 6-11 clearance in the high. OUTDOOR: In his first meet of the outdoor season, Ellingsen won the high jump with a clearance of 7-0.25 at the John McDonnell Invitational. He posted a season-best performance with a 7-1 clearance at Penn Relays, good for a sixth-place effort. At the SEC Championships, he had an eighth-place finish (6-11) to score toward the team's SEC-title point total. At the NCAA West Preliminary, he qualified for the national meet with a successful attempt at 7-0.25. Ellingsen went on to earn Second-Team All-America honors with a 10th-place finish in the high jump (7-0.25) at the NCAA Championships. For his work in the classroom, he earned spots on the SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll and USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.

2010 || INDOOR: Ellingsen earned a runner-up finish in the high jump in his Razorback debut at the Arkansas Invitational. He cleared an NCAA provisional-qualifying height of 7-0.25. At the Arkansas vs. Texas dual meet, he won the high jump (6-10.75) and finished third in the triple jump (47-10). He cleared a season-best and improved NCAA provisional-qualifying height of 7-2.5 to finish fourth at the SEC Championships. His height ranks No. 10 on Arkansas' all-time list. He earned the first All-America honor of his career at the NCAA Championships. He finished fifth with a clearance of 7-2.25. OUTDOOR: Ellingsen opened the season with a first-place clearance at the McDonnell Invitational. He posted a winning jump of 7-1. At the Arkansas-Texas dual, he came away with a first-place performance in the high jump (7-2.25) and a runner-up finish in the triple jump (46-7.5). Ellingsen picked up a third-place finish at Penn Relays with a clearance of 7-1. At the SEC Championships, he had a runner-up finish in his signature event for the Razorbacks when he cleared the 7-1.5 bar. He ended his season at the NCAA West Prelims with a 14th-place finish in the high jump.

PRIOR TO ARKANSAS: Ellingsen is a three-time Norwegian Champion in the high jump. He competed at the U-23 European Championships in 2008 and 2009. He holds a personal best of 7-3. He attended high school in Arkansas as a junior. At Fourche Valley High School, he earned all-state, all-region and all-district honors on the basketball court.

PERSONAL: Born Dec. 13, 1988, he is the son of Gisle and Lisbeth Raa Ellingsen. His father, Gisle, was a member of the Norwegian track and field coaching staff at the 1996 and 2000 Olympic Games. He was also the 1987 Norwegian Champion in the high jump. His sister, Henriette, played basketball at Arkansas Tech. He is enrolled in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences.
