Arkansas-Kentucky series opener rained out

LEXINGTON, Ky. - The series opener between the Arkansas Razorbacks and Kentucky Wildcats, scheduled for 5:30 p.m. (CT) on Friday night, has been rained out.  The two teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday with the first game scheduled for 1 p.m. (CT). Game two will start at 6 p.m. (CT) and be televised on FSN.

Arkansas is scheduled to start sophomore lefty Randall Fant (1-2, 3.12) in the opener, while Kentucky will counter with junior right hander Alex Meyer (3-5, 3.59). In the nightcap, Arkansas will start sophomore right-handed pitcher DJ Baxendale (5-1, 1.62), while Kentucky is projected to start freshman left hander Corey Littrell (4-3, 6.13).
