FAYETTEVILLE - Coming off an intense 4-3 victory over No. 75 UAB on Wednesday, the No. 56 Arkansas Razorbacks will host three home matches this weekend continuing their dual match season. Arkansas will open with a doubleheader Friday against Army starting at 11 a.m. Sunday, No. 37 Minnesota comes to Fayetteville for a match set to begin at noon.

"We will be playing a lot of tennis this weekend," head coach Robert Cox said. "We need to pace ourselves and take one match at a time, but we are excited to take the courts this weekend."

Arkansas is off to a good start this season with a 4-1 record. Junior Mike Nott is undefeated in singles collecting wins from three ranked teams including No. 1 Virginia. Freshman Santiago Munoz has added some spark to the Razorbacks with his solid play at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions.

Army has yet to play a dual match this season, but had an overall record last season of 16-13, making it to the Patriot League Championship before falling to Navy.

"Army always has a competitive squad," Coach Cox said. "We always look forward to playing Army because they bring some quality tennis to the courts."

No. 37 Minnesota (1-2) will play No. 22 Tulsa on Friday before traveling to Fayetteville. The Golden Gophers dropped both matches in the ITA Kickoff last weekend to No. 31 VCU 5-2 and No. 44 Vanderbilt 7-0.

"Sunday's match should be very intense," Coach Cox said. "We are regional opponents and have played these guys in many tournaments so we know they are a solid team."

Fans that attend the Minnesota match will receive free pizza between single and doubles play, while supply lasts. There will be a live blog and live stats available at ArkansasRazorbacks.com.
