Happy February! Find your guide to @RazorbackFB in the Super Bowl below.

Former Razorbacks In Super Bowl XLVIII
For the sixth straight year, at least one former Razorback is in the Super Bowl. Tomorrow’s game features three on the NFC champion Seattle Seahawks with offensive tackle Alvin Bailey, quarterback Tavaris Jackson and head coach Pete Carroll. Bailey started every game of his Arkansas career from 2010-12, Jackson played in 2001 and 2002 before finishing his collegiate career at Alabama State and Carroll was a graduate assistant on Arkansas’ 1977 coaching staff. If Seattle wins, Arkansas will have a former student-athlete or coach on the victorious team for the fifth consecutive year. Super Bowl XLVIII kicks off at 5:30 p.m. on FOX.

A Celebration Of Differences
The University of Arkansas Athletic Department joins organizations around our campus, our community and our country in recognizing February as Black History Month.

Beginning as early as 1926, Americans have honored recognized the need to honor the successes of African-Americans and the event has grown into a celebration of the accomplishments of some of our nation’s greatest thinkers, leaders, celebrities and sports personalities.

The Razorback Athletic Department began a website series in 2009 as a way to honor the successes of current and former African-American student-athletes, coaches and staff members. Daily stories were published online and a small booklet of the complete series was published at the end of the month.

You can click here and see all of the great stories of these Razorback trailblazers.

Too ambiguous? Know exactly what coverage we're missing? Have a general question for the athletic department? Tell us. Shout at arkmr@uark.edu with suggestions of what you would like to see covered and what the column is missing. Interaction is good. Think of this as your portal to all things Arkansas.
