2011: Shearin appeared in five games but did not record any statistics. He earned playing time in the 42-38 win vs. No. 14 Texas A&M, the 38-14 win vs. No. 15 Auburn, the 29-24 victory at Ole Miss, the 44-28 win vs. No. 10 South Carolina and the 44-17 victory vs. Mississippi State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Shearin was an Arkansas Class 6A East all-state pick at fullback and linebacker as a junior and senior at Jonesboro High School. As a senior, Shearin recorded 129 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and one interception to help lead head coach Randy Coleman and his Golden Hurricane squad to a berth in the 2010 Class 6A state championship playoffs. Shearin made 105 tackles, including five sacks as a junior in 2009. As a sophomore, he notched 78 tackles, including six tackles for loss and two sacks.

PERSONAL:
Born Dec. 8, 1992, he is the son of Trey and Cynthia Shearin. His father played college football at Central Arkansas, and his grandfather, Harry Shearin, played at Arkansas State. Brad is majoring in kinesiology.
