University of Arkansas head men's basketball coach Mike Anderson met with the media on Monday to talk about the start of summer practice at Bud Walton Arena.
Anderson opened up by talking about the Razorback’s upcoming trip to Italy and how it will be a great educational and cultural experience that the team will remember forever. He said it will be a chance for the young team to bond and spend time together.
Anderson fielded questions from the media about the return of Marshawn Powell and how the team will stack up against the competition in Italy. Anderson also spoke about BJ Young’s summer growth after attending summer camps held by LeBron James and Deron Williams.
The Razorbacks will leave for Italy on August 10 and return to Arkansas on August 19.
