FAYETTEVILLE - University of Arkansas head men's basketball coach Mike Anderson met with the media on Tuesday to discuss the Razorbacks upcoming game this week. Arkansas faces Alabama this Thursday at 8 p.m. on ESPN2.

"Alabama is a team that is playing good basketball," Anderson said. "They are 4-2 in the conference and they had the ball in their hand to win against Tennessee. They are one of the best defensive teams in our league."

Anderson spoke about his expectations for the Razorbacks (12-7, 3-3 SEC) in their matchup against the Alabama Crimson Tide (12-7, 4-2 SEC). He also spoke about the quick turnaround between Thursday's game against Alabama and Saturday's upcoming game against Tennessee.

Anderson then answered questions about the performances of Marshawn Powell and BJ Young, on what he expected to see from Alabama and on the team's confidence on the road. He also discussed Jacorey Williams and Coty Clarke returning to their home state of Alabama to play, as both are from Birmingham.
