2011-12 Preview:
Healthy after nearly a year-and-a-half on the sideline with plantar fasciitis and other foot ailments ... great motor and effort  ... according to Coach Anderson “does all the dirty work in the trenches, whether it is take charges, grab loose balls, deflections, he’ll be in a position now where he will have a chance to score,  up-tempo basketball will allow him to showcase his God-given abilities.”

2010-11 (Junior):
Missed the first 11 games of the season with a stress fracture and reaction in his foot ... destroyed his career highs in almost every category in upset at No. 19 Vanderbilt with 20 points on 8-of-12 shooting and 4-of-6 from the free throw line in a season high 33 minutes ... averaged 3.5 points and 2.4 rebounds per game ... made his first start since his redshirt freshman year against Ole Miss and grabbed a season best five rebounds ... grabbed a season best three offensive boards in upset of No. 22 Kentucky ... came up with a pair of rebounds in the closing moments against Alabama to secure a victory ... scored eight points, grabbed four rebounds, had one assist and two steals against Tennessee at the SEC Tournament ... UA Athletic Department Honor Roll (3.00-3.49) for fall and spring semesters.

2009-10 (Sophomore):
Missed the first five and final 23 games of the season to plantar fasciitis … played in four contests in late November and early December … averaged 4.0 points and 1.8 rebounds per contest in 58 minutes of action … posted a season best seven points at Oklahoma and grabbed a season high three rebounds against Delaware St.

2008-09 (Freshman):
Played in all 30 games with 28 starts … averaged 5.9 points, 4.9 rebounds (third on the team) and 23.3 minutes … Hit 44.8 (56-125) percent of his shots and 72.2 (65-90) percent of his free throws … averaged 5.1 points and 3.7 rebounds in SEC play … led the team in rebounding four times … double digits in scoring six times and rebounding four times … scored five points and grabbed a season best 12 rebounds in the season opener against Southeastern Louisiana … grabbed another 12 rebounds and added 12 points against California-Davis for his first double-double … first Razorback to open a season with three straight double-figure rebounding efforts since Derek Hood in 1997 with 11 rebounds at Missouri State … scored 12 points and six rebounds in upset of No. 4 Oklahoma … played with Reach USA, a division of Sports Reach (a Christian sports ministry), in a summer tour of China averaging 8.2 points and 7.0 rebounds on a team that went 1-3-1 against the third-ranked professional team in the country … named to SEC Academic Honor Roll.

2007-08 (Redshirt):
Redshirted his true freshman year because of Arkansas’ depth at the front court … averaged 9.0 points and 4.5 rebounds in two exhibition games in Cancun over Labor Day weekend … scored the game-winning basket in the final seconds against Quintana Roo … named to Lon Farrell Academic Honor roll in the fall.

In High School:
Averaged 15.8 points, 13.8 rebounds and 7.0 assists for Har-Ber High School … led the Wildcats to a 24-6 record and the Class 7A championship game as a senior … recorded a double-double in every conference game he played … first-team All-Arkansas, all-state and Class 7A state all-tournament team … all-area by the Morning News … scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds in state title game and 18 points and 14 boards in state semifinal … averaged 18.0 points 11.0 rebounds as a junior … Har-Ber went 15-14 as a team … as a sophomore averaged 18.0 points and 12.0 rebounds … was ranked among the top 50 sophomores in the nation by Scout.com … invited to the NBA Players Association Camp and Reebok ABCD camp … played AAU basketball while considering his college and prep school options for the Arkansas Hawks and averaged 20.0 points and 13.0 rebounds … was an honors graduate and a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes … signed with Arkansas after also considering Kentucky, Wake Forest, Colorado, Michigan, New Mexico, New Mexico State and Tennessee.

Personal:
Son of Albert and Kim Sanchez … born Aug. 21, 1988 … earned his degree in operations management in 2011 and currently pursuing his masters in engineering … his mother played basketball at Arkansas and his father ran track for the Razorbacks.
