FAYETTEVILLE – The schedule for the 2013 Coca-Cola Classic, hosted by Arizona State at the Surprise Recreation Complex in Surprise, Ariz., has been released. The Razorbacks will face the Sun Devils twice in the tournament, along with single games against Gonzaga and Pacific.

The tournament takes place from Thursday, Feb. 28, until Sunday, March 3. Arkansas will face Arizona State on Feb. 28 and March 2 at Surprise Stadium. Both games will start 50 minutes following the conclusion of that day’s spring training game. Surprise Stadium also serves as the spring training home for the Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers.

The Razorbacks will also meet Gonzaga on March 1 at 6 p.m., and will close the tournament by facing Pacific at noon on March 3.

Arkansas and Arizona State have met nine times previously with the Sun Devils winning six of the nine meetings. The two teams have met seven times since the 2008 season, including two games in the 2010 Tempe Super Regional and one meeting in the 2011 Tempe Regional. The Razorbacks will be facing Gonzaga for the second straight year. Arkansas, which leads the series against the Bulldogs 3-1, swept a two-game midweek series last season. Arkansas and Pacific will be meeting for the first time in program history.
