Anderson talks about Northwestern State

FAYETTEVILLE - University of Arkansas head men's basketball coach Mike Anderson met with the media on Thursday to discuss the Razorbacks' upcoming game against the Northwestern State scheduled for Saturday at 7 p.m. at Bud Walton Arena.

"Northwestern State is one of the leading teams in the country in terms of points," Anderson said.  "They hit a high percentage of their shots, play 10-11 guys and have balance.  They have quick guards that can attack and you have to cover their three-point shooters."

Anderson spoke about what he expected of the Razorbacks (7-4) coming into the matchup against Northwestern State. He talked about Arkansas' effort and attitude as they enter the game and about how the Razorbacks can't be caught looking at the name on the front of the jersey, but how they must approach every game the same way.

Anderson then answered questions from the media about how good Northwestern State was, how two-a-day practices have gone since returning from their short break, the playmaking ability of BJ Young and the athleticism of Rickey Scott.
