Hoang, who won in straight sets on Friday, continued solid play on day two taking down Marquette's David Packowitz 7-5, 6-1. Hoang advances to Sunday's flight final against DePaul's Adam Reinhart at 11 a.m.
"I am very pleased with Victor's play today," head coach Robert Cox said. "Both of these guys have had a good tournament. We just need to come out tomorrow and finish strong."
Parlic dropped his singles match to Northwestern's Sadarth Balaji 6-1, 6-3. Parlic will close his tournament tomorrow taking on Nickolas Wong of Toledo at 8 a.m.
Hoang and Parlic dropped a tough doubles match to a Marquette duo of Vukasin Teofanovic and Dan Mamalat 8-6.
