FAYETTEVILLE - The No. 1 University of Arkansas men's track and field team won 12 of 16 events Friday en route to a 102-68 dual victory over No. 15 Texas at the Randal Tyson Track Center.

Freshman Omar McLeod is now five-for-fve this season, earning all five event titles to start his college career. McLeod won the 200-meter dash Friday night at Randal Tyson Track Center with a time of 21.09, ranking No. 7 nationally this season. His time of 7.76 was good for the 60-meter hurdle event title, which beat his time from last week and ranks fourth nationally.

Senior Neil Braddy anchored the winning 4x400 relay team and earned the 400-meter dash event title with a 2014 NCAA-leading time of 46.36.

Patrick Rono had a dominating win with the 800-meter run, finishing in 1:51.55, nearly four seconds ahead of Derrell Manhertz of Texas.

Stanley Kebenei took the even title in the mile with a time of 4:11.27, with Gabe Gonzalez finishing with a second-place time of 4:12.17. Solomon Haile added to the strength of the Arkansas distance squad, winning the 3,000-meter event title in 8:22.71.

The distance medley relay team of Raymond Joseph, Tomas Squella, Andrew Pisechko and Kebenei earned a first-place finish at the Texas Dual and seventh-place nationally with a time of 10:13.67.

Anthony May earned Arkansas ten points and two top-five national leader marks Friday night in his first two event titles of the season. His first-place high jump mark of 7-2.5 tied the second-best in the NCAA so far this season, while his triple jump mark of 51-1.5 is fourth best in the nation. Jarrion Lawson tied the best mark in the country with 26-6.75 in long jump to win his first event title of the season. He was also a leg in the 4x400 relay team that ranks sixth in the nation with a time of 3:09.83.

"I was pleased with the way we performed tonight," said Head Coach Chris Bucknam. "I didn't want them to go out there and put their foot all the way down on the pedal and get hurt because it's an important time of year for us to stay healthy. We're making progress and will be ready for the Razorback Invite in two weeks."

The team returns to competition Jan. 31-Feb. 1 for the Razorback Invitational in Fayetteville.
