AUSTIN, Texas  - The University of Arkansas men's track and field team brought home three titles from the 2014 Texas Relays. The meet opened the outdoor season for the top-ranked Razorbacks.

Arkansas left Austin with titles in the 4x800-meter relay, high jump and sprint medley relay. In addition to the three titles, the Razorbacks earned two runner-up finishes in the decathlon and high jump.

4x800 Relay - 1st place
The relay team of Cale Wallace, Tomas Squella, Andrew Pisechko and Patrick Rono earned the event title in the 4x800 on Friday with a time of 7:24.12. The Razorbacks held steady in the top-five through the first two legs, with Pisechko bringing Arkansas into the lead on the third leg for the handoff to Rono, who brought it home for the win.

High Jump (Friday Section) - 1st, 2nd, 5th place
The Razorbacks took three of the top-five finishes in high jump, with Noah Kittelson taking home the title for the senior's first-ever win at the Texas Relays. His mark of 7-1 was good for the win, just missing his personal-best of 7-1.5. Dwayne Golbek made a statement with a 6-11.75 clearance for a second-place finish out of the 21-athlete field. It was his first top-two finish since he last won the event at the Texas State Elite (3/23/13) last season. Rounding out the top-five in the fifth-place spot was Ken LeGassey, clearing 6-10.75 to secure Arkansas' third top-five finish.

Sprint Medley Relay - 1st place
Following an hour weather delay on Friday, the Razorbacks didn't miss a beat, going on to win their third event of the meet, the sprint medley relay. Curtis Brown, Travis Southard, Eric Janise and Tomas Squella pulled together for the team's second title of the day, following Kittelson's high jump victory. The Razorbacks were in second place until Squella rounded the final turn, passing LSU within the last 50 meters for the win with a time of 3:18.57. The comeback win goes down as the 10th-best time in school history.

Decathlon - 2nd place
Less than two weeks after a third-place performance at the NCAA Indoor Championships, Kevin Lazas jumped right into the otudoor season with the decathlon. Lazas was in ninth-place after day one with 3,756 points, but a personal-best day two performance would give the senior 3,836 points to finish in the top-two. Holding the seventh-place spot after the first seven events, a PR-tying performance (17-4.5) in the polve vault earned Lazas 1,004 points, moving the seinor up to third place. Taking a three-point lead over the field after a javelin throw of 196-2, Lazas finished 10th in the 1,500-meter (4:48.92) to place second over all on the day with 7,592 points. He currently ranks second in the nation.

Arkansas will host its first outdoor of the season next weekend with the Arkansas Spring Invitational on Saturday, April 5. For more information on Razorback Track & Field, follow @RazorbackTF on Twitter.
