2011: Indoor: At the Arkansas-Texas Dual, Skidmore finished in second place in the 400 meters (47.77) and helped the 4x400-meter relay to a victory in a time of 3:12.62. The following weekend at the Razorback Invitational, he turned in a personal-best time of 21.56 at 200 meters. At the New Balance Collegiate Invitational, Skidmore ran the third leg of Arkansas' runner-up 4x400-meter relay which clocked a time of 3:09.08. He finished 10th at 400 meters (47.14) and helped the mile relay to a third-place showing (3:08.68) at the Tyson Invitational. Skidmore turned in a career-best weekend at the SEC Championships where he clocked an NCAA automatic mark of 46.04 in the 400 meters, good for fourth place. In the final event of the conference meet, he led off for the Razorbacks' first-place 4x400 relay that crossed in 3:05.13 and won the program's first indoor title at the event. For his part, Skidmore earned First-Team All-SEC accolades. At the NCAA Championships, he earned a pair of All-America honors for his third-place finish with the 4x400-meter relay (3:06.79) and ninth-place result in the 400 meters (46.67). Outdoor: Skidmore opened his outdoor season at the Texas Triangular with a fifth-place finish in the 200 meters and runner-up showing with the 4x100-meter relay. At the Texas Relays, he was part of runner-up performances with the 4x200- (1:23.52) and sprint-medley (3:16.83) relays. He crossed third at 400 meters with a time of 47.52 at the John McDonnell Invitational. Resuming his relay duties, Skidmore ran the second leg of the 4x200 at Penn Relays and helped the team to a fifth-place finish with a finals time of 1:23.17. At the SEC Championships, he clocked a personal-best 46.58 in the prelims of the 400 meters and went on to finish eighth in the event final. Skidmore qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary in the 400 meters and with the 4x400-meter relay. At the NCAA Championships, he earned his third All-America selection of the year with the Razorbacks' effort in the 4x400-meter relay. The foursome clocked a season-best 3:03.59 on its way to fifth place at the national meet. Skidmore also posted success in the classroom with selections to the SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll and USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.

2010: Indoor: Skidmore opened his sophomore season at the Arkansas-Texas dual where he posted a first-place performance in the 400 meters (47.54) and helped the 4x400 relay to second place (3:15.07). At the Texas A&M Challenge, he ran the second leg of the distance-medley relay that finished third in a time of 9:33.12, a provisional qualifying time for the quartet. At the SEC Championships, Skidmore finished ninth in the 400 meters, one spot out of scoring for the team, but he came back with the 4x400-meter relay team to post points with a seventh-place finish in a time of 3:11.51. The distance-medley relay team had another provisional qualifier at the Arkansas Last Chance meet and, at the NCAA Championships, Skidmore collected his second All-America accolade as the DMR ran to a runner-up showing in a time of 9:37.53. Outdoor: At the Arkansas-Texas dual in Austin, he was fifth in the 400 meters (49.75) and helped the 4x400 relay team to a second-place finish (3:10.96). He ran the 400-leg of the distance- and sprint-medley relays at Penn Relays. At the Arkansas Twilight, Skidmore ran a personal-best 400 time of 47.25, good for a third-place result, and he was a member of the victorious 4x400 relay which crossed in a time of 3:08.46. At the SEC Championships, he anchored the mile relay to a seventh-place finish (3:09.12). He finished 15th in the prelims of the 400 meters at the conference meet. Skidmore closed out the year at the NCAA West Prelims in the 400 meters (48.45) and with the 4x400 relay (a season-best 3:08.18).

2009: Indoor: Skidmore began his Razorback career at the Arkansas Invitational where won the 400 meters with a time of 48.15. At the Razorback Invitational, he ran his only 200-meter race of the year and finished 13th with a personal-best time of 21.86. He ran the second leg of the race-winning distance medley relay at the UW Invitational. Their clocking, 9:28.35, was a new school record, the fastest time in the NCAA in 2009 and automatically qualified the quartet for the NCAA Championships. Running the anchor leg of the 4x400-meter relay at the Tyson Invitational, the relay team won with a 3:09.49, good for an NCAA provisional qualifying mark. At the SEC Championships, he ran a personal best in the 400 meters (15th, 47.97) and ran the lead leg of the 4x400-meter relay that finished in sixth place. The 4x400-meter relay team ran their best time of the season at the ISU Last Chance (11th, 3:09.02) with Skidmore running the second leg. He earned All-America honors with a runner-up finish as the 400-meter leg of the DMR at the NCAA Championships. The quarter clocked a time of 9:30.31, the No. 7 time in Arkansas history. Outdoor: At the John McDonnell Invitational, he finished 10th in the 800 meters with a time of 1:55.77, a personal best. At the SEC Championships, he ran a personal best and qualified for the USA Championships in the 400 meters (15th, 47.58). He also ran the lead leg of the 4x400-meter relay that finished seventh with a time of 3:10.05. He competed in the 400 meters at the USA Junior Championships and finished ninth with a time of 48.17.

AT THE WOODLANDS HS: Skidmore was a four-year letterman while competing at The Woodlands High School. He finished second in the 400 meters at the 2008 Texas state championships with a time of 47.14. He held a prep best of 22.6 in the 200 meters. He was high school teammates with current Razorbacks Drew Butler, Michael Golden and Travis Southard.

PERSONAL: Born May 26, 1990, he is the son of Steven and Catherine Skidmore. He is currently enrolled in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences and is majoring in chemistry.
