2013: Jennifer Rambo had a strong finish to her junior campaign. She hit .714 from April 19-April 26 against No. 17 Kentucky and No. 2 Tennessee. The four games for Rambo featured two homeruns and four RBI. She started 40 games for the Razorbacks in her junior season and batted .324. The Spokane, Wash. native also batted well early in the season, she went 2-for-3 with a triple and four RBI against Tulsa on Feb. 16. She had 28 RBI in 2013 and had an on base percentage of .435. The on base percentage is the fifth highest in a season in UA history. Rambo slugged .510 this season, a mark good for tenth in UA history.

2012: Rambo was the definition of a utility player her sophomore season, she started 50 games in either the first base or centerfield position. She batted .204 while collecting 28 hits and 26 RBI. Rambo also hit nine home runs last season, six coming in conference play. Rambo had a clutch solo-home run in the 3-2 victory over No. 1 California in the Berkeley Regional. She had an outstanding doubleheader at Kentucky where she blasted three bombs in two games, helping the Razorbacks to a 7-3 victory over the Wildcats. With her performance at Kentucky she tied the school record of home runs hit in a single game (2). She also came in at tied for ninth on the single season records for home runs. Defensively, Rambo had 222 putouts while also totaling 10 assists.

2011: Rambo ended the 2011 season with 13 RBI, seven runs and a batting average of .230 after 43 games started and 46 games played. Rambo had five multi-hit games for the Razorbacks, her first coming against Utah (Feb. 20) when she went 3-for-4 with a run and a RBI. She had a season high of three hits in game one of the doubleheader against Ole Miss (March 23) including her second home run of the season to plate three runs for the Razorbacks. Her first homer came in just the second game of the season against Sam Houston State (Feb. 11) at the 25th Annual Louisiana Classic. Defensively, Rambo tallied a season best 17 putouts in the doubleheader against Kentucky (March 16). She finished her first year of league play with a .230 batting average and 17 hits. Her number of hits in SEC play marks the second best on the team for 2011.

HIGH SCHOOL: Rambo was an infielder from Spokane, Wash., who was a four-year starter for Gonzaga Prep High School. Rambo earned first team all-league honors as a sophomore, junior and senior while leading the league with a batting average of .596. In her sophomore and senior seasons, Rambo also led the league in slugging percentage. Rambo has compiled a career batting average of .558 and a career slugging percentage of .913 while adding 77 hits and 44 RBI. She was also honored as the league’s most valuable player for her efforts during her senior year. Strong academically, Rambo was a member of the National Honor Society and named to the Dean’s List.

PERSONAL: Born Oct. 27, 1991, she is the daughter of Jay and Donna Rambo. She has a younger sister, Julia. Rambo is majoring in communication disorders.
