2013: Clarie Clark was a key defender in her freshman season and saw time off of the bench to play the outfield. She appeared in 49 games and started 31. She hit .429 against No. 22 Georgia and scored four runs in three games. Clark also belted a grand-slam against Jackson St. on February 13. Her athletic play and ability to run will surely burst her into the lineup in coming seasons.

HIGH SCHOOL: Clark attended Wynne High School in Wynne, Arkansas. She was a 3.83 student and was in the top five of her class academically. She started four years for the varsity softball team and was all-state her freshman, sophomore, junior and senior years.

PERSONAL: Born on Nov. 3, 1993. Her parents are Jackie and Renee Clark. She studies medicine and art at the University of Arkansas and would like to become a nurse or doctor upon graduation. Her favorite athlete is Josh Hamilton.
