Higgs, Clark have summer internships
RELATED LINKS
FAYETTEVILLE - University of Arkansas Media Relations Office students Jenny Higgs and Tyler Clark have earned a pair of exciting summer internships it was announced today.
Higgs, a junior sports management major, is interning with the Houston Astros professional baseball team.
Higgs joins the team from May 17-Aug. 12 as the lone intern in the Community Affairs Department. During her time with the team, Higgs will assist with player appearances and the Astros' philanthropy projects. In addition, she will handle donation requests and set up and coordinate the Astro Buddies Club.
Clark, a junior business management student at Arkansas, is interning with the College Football Hall of Fame in South Bend, Ind., as a public relations assistant.
His intern duties include working with the Enshrinement Festival public, assisting with the maintenance of the program's social media presence, credentialing, assisting with script writing, public service projects and website updates.
Both Higgs and Clark return to campus in the fall working towards their degrees.
