FAYETTEVILLE - Nine members of the University of Arkansas volleyball team were named to the 2011 Fall Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll. With nine academic selections, the Razorbacks have the second-highest total among the league's volleyball programs.

Arkansas' members of the SEC Academic Honor Roll are Amanda Anderson (kinesiology), Brooke Fournier (kinesiology), Kasey Heckelman (psychology), Marci King (sociology), Hayley Koop (art), Clarissa Pavey (childhood education), Raymariely Santos (kinesiology), Kelli Stipanovich (communications disorders) and Charmaine Whitmore (undeclared).

Stipanovich, a 2011 senior, was a four-year SEC academic honoree during her Razorback career. This year's honors mark the third such accolades for Anderson and second for Fournier, Koop and Santos. Anderson was previously named to the SEC Fall Honor Roll in 2010 and the Freshman Honor Roll following her first season at Arkansas. Fournier, Koop and Santos were First-Year Honor Roll members following their freshman seasons in 2010.

A total of 534 student-athletes from the conference were named to the 2011 Fall SEC Academic Honor Roll, including 43 from the University of Arkansas. The number also features members of the Razorback football and soccer teams. Among a list of criteria for league academic eligibility, a student-athlete must have a grade-point average of 3.00 or above.
