FAYETTEVILLE – University of Arkansas women’s basketball coach Tom Collen joins the Southeastern Conference coaches at 2012 SEC Media Day in Birmingham, Ala., Thursday.

The annual event was scheduled to begin for Collen at 8 a.m. with a session with ESPNW, but the Razorbacks were delayed about 20 minutes due to travel.  Once underway, Collen met with ESPNW followed by SIRUS/XM Radio and the SEC Network.

The Razorback head coach moved next to the main media room for a 40 minute session with print and digital reporters in an open forum format. He wraps up his day with meetings with FSN, CSS and the SEC Digital Network.

The most often asked question of Collen was about his plans to replace last year's record-setting senior class but that is something the Razorback skipper isn't worried about.

In fact, he is looking forward to seeing some new faces emerge as team leaders.

SEC Media Days signals the fast approaching start of the 2012-13 season.  Arkansas opens with an exhibition against Rogers State Nov. 4, and hosts Jackson State in the season/home opener Nov. 9 at 11 a.m.
