Notes:
Sarah Watkins posted her third career double-double (first of the season) with 22 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Coppin State last week moving the No. 25 Razorbacks to 12-1 before beginning SEC play.  Watkins’ 22 points was just three shy of her career best 25.  Seven field goals ties her second best mark of the season; eight free throws ties her season best; nine free throw attempts is a season best; 10 rebounds is a season best and five blocked shots ties a season best and is one shy of a career best.  Watkins has been coming off the bench for the last nine games and she leads the team with 13.5 ppg this season.  She averages 16.2 ppg and 5.4 rpg off the bench this year.  Arkansas’ 12 wins is the third consecutive season and the fifth time in six years under head coach Tom Collen that the Razorbacks have reached double-digit wins before the new year.  Arkansas is now 42-1 in non-conference home games under Collen and has won 29 consecutive non-conference games in Bud Walton.  Arkansas travels to Auburn before hosting former Razorback head coach Gary Blair and No. 24 Texas A&M Jan. 6, in the SEC home opener.
