COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Razorback women’s basketball team is in College Station, Texas for its first round game of the NCAA Tournament against the University of Dayton and is in good spirits as it prepares for the first game of the College Station sub-regional.

Arkansas spent its first full day in College Station on Friday and was able to get good rest after a full day of travel on Thursday. Friday’s activities kicked off with the pre-practice press conference at Texas A&M’s Reed Arena where head coach Tom Collen and seniors Ashley Daniels and Lyndsay Harris all spoke with the media and stated how excited they were to be playing in the tournament.

After the press conference the team participated in its first practice at Reed Arena and continued to show a high-spirited attitude as it prepared for Dayton. Once finishing practice, the Razorbacks went to the local mall to relax a little before the team dinner that night.

Arkansas will play in the first game of the sub-regional tomorrow against the Dayton Flyers at 3 p.m. Saturday on ESPN2 as part of the network’s whip around coverage. Live blog and a full recap of the game can be found online at ArkansasRazorbacks.com.
