FAYETTEVILLE - Blaire Hiler joins the University of Arkansas volleyball staff in February as the director of operations. Prior to joining the Razorbacks, she was a volleyball customer service rep with Nfinity Athletics and was a four-year volleyball letterwinner at the University of Kentucky from 2007-10. In her role as director of volleyball operations, Hiler will be responsible for handling daily team functions and coordinating team travel.

During her playing career, Hiler helped Kentucky to four NCAA Tournament appearances including a run to the regional semifinal in the 2009 season. She finished her career with four all-tournament selections and established career highs during her senior season of 18 kills and seven total blocks at Georgia and 14 digs against Kansas State.

Hiler is familiar with Razorback head coach Robert Pulliza as he was the associate head coach with Kentucky during part of her playing career Lexington. Recruited by Pulliza, she was part of his 2007 recruiting class that was ranked as the No. 8 incoming group in the nation by PrepVolleyball.com.

A native of New Washington, Ohio, she is the daughter of Jerry Hiler and Amber Christy, and has two siblings, Nate Hiler and Bryce Christy. She played her prep volleyball at Buckeye Central High School where she holds the school records for career kills and blocks. Hiler was a three-time all-state selection.
