The University of Arkansas basketball team’s season continues on Tuesday night when the Razorbacks host Florida A&M University at Bud Walton Arena beginning at 7 p.m.

The Razorbacks (2-0) look to remain undefeated on the year and improve to 3-0 for the second time in three seasons when it tips off on Tuesday night.  Arkansas must bounce back quickly from a game on Sunday afternoon in which it blew out Longwood, 112-63. Helping the Razorbacks in its recovery is the fact that the entire roster saw action in the game and no player spent more than 20 minutes on the floor.

Sophomore BJ Young returned to action for the Longwood game and scored 23 points in 20 minutes with five assists and no turnovers.  He was one of six Arkansas players to notch double figures in points while junior Coty Clarke grabbed 10 rebounds. The 112 points scored by the Razorbacks was the first time in nearly three seasons it eclipsed the 100-point mark.

Florida A&M (0-3) has yet to play a game at home this year, but despite that has put up solid offensive numbers, averaging more than 70 points per game.  Where the Rattlers are getting hurt is in their defense and rebounding as teams are hitting 51 percent from the floor against Florida A&M and grabbing eight more rebounds per game.

The 2012 matchup between Arkansas and Florida A&M is the fourth in the all-time series with the last game just two seasons ago.  The Razorbacks dominated the 2011 meeting, holding the Rattlers to just 11 first-half points.

Season and single-game non-conference tickets for Razorback basketball games as well as mini-plans are on sale at the Razorback Ticket Center by calling 1-800-982-HOGS or by going on-line at ArkansasRazorbacks.com. Season ticket packages are $450 and include admission to every game at Bud Walton Arena as well as both exhibition contests.

The Arkansas-Florida A&M game will be broadcast on the radio across the Razorback Sports Network from IMG College with Chuck Barrett and Rick Schaeffer giving the call.
