FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. –
Season tickets for the 2014 University of Arkansas soccer season are currently on sale at the Razorback Ticket Office and online at ArkansasRazorbacks.com. Every $25 season ticket package includes a 2014 Razorback soccer scarf.
“This year we have a new soccer scarf and some new and exciting promotions that go with that,” said Head Coach Colby Hale. “We know with the World Cup this summer, we will be building momentum going into the fall and we couldn’t be more excited with the group we have in our program this fall!”
The Razorbacks are scheduled to play nine home contests in 2014 beginning on Aug. 22 against Utah State and ending on Oct. 24 with Texas A&M. Arkansas will host Oklahoma State on Sunday, August 24th, facing the team the Razorbacks defeated in 2013 in their first-ever NCAA Tournament win. The Razorbacks will play host to Rice, Missouri State and Kentucky in September followed by Southeastern Conference foes, Vanderbilt, Florida, Auburn and Texas A&M in in October.
“This time of the season is always exciting,” stated Hale. “We have released what will be one of the toughest non-conference schedules in the country as well as our very exciting home schedule. Last year’s response to the season ticket scarf was fantastic. We increased season ticket sales by 500%. The Razorback fan base is the best in the country!”
Arkansas is coming off its best season in school history including the program’s first trip to the NCAA Tournament, where the Razorbacks advanced to the Final Round of 16. The Razorbacks returns a majority of the offense from last season’s record-setting squad, including five of the team’s top goal scorers, goalkeeper and a very good signing class.
