2012 || INDOOR: Cross capped his junior indoor season with a sixth-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles at the NCAA Championships. He earned first-team All-America accolades for his performance which included a personal-best time of 7.67 in the first round at the national meet. Cross added second-team All-SEC honors with his runner-up finish in the hurdle event at the SEC Championships. He crossed the finish line in a time of 7.79 to add eight points toward the eventual team title for Arkansas. With the indoor crown in hand, he helped the 4x400-meter relay to a bronze showing at the conference meet. OUTDOOR: Cross was a three-time All-American during the outdoor season having qualified for the NCAA Championships in both hurdles events and with the 4x100-meter relay. As the lead-off leg, he helped the sprint relay to a sixth-place finish and first-team accolades. Based on his performance at the SEC Championships, Cross was voted the SEC Runner of the Year and was the recipient of the Commissioner’s Trophy as the meet’s high scorer. He was a two-time SEC champion with victories in the 400-meter hurdles and with the 4x100-meter relay, and finished third in the 110-meter hurdles. At the conference meet, he set a personal best of 50.30 in the 400-meter hurdles; he entered the season with a PR of 54.06. At the Arkansas Twilight meet, Cross established a personal-best time of 13.71 in the 110-meter hurdles. Following the collegiate season, he competed at the USA Olympic Trials in the 400-meter hurdles. In addition to his prowess on the track, Cross earned a spot on the SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll for his work in the classroom.

2011 || INDOOR: In his first result of the season, Cross ran as a member of the 4x400-meter relay at the Razorback Invitational. He also had relay duties with the 4x200 team at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational where the foursome clocked a time of 1:29.08 and finished eighth. At the SEC Championships, Cross qualified for the finals of the 60-meter hurdles with a fifth-place finish in the prelims. He went on to earn points at the conference meet with a fifth-place effort in the hurdle event. Cross turned in his season-best performance at the Arkansas Last Chance where he posted a time of 7.91 to finish in third place in the 60-meter hurdles. OUTDOOR: At the Arkansas Spring Invitational, Cross competed in four races including a second-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles, a personal best in the 400-meter hurdles (54.06), a victory with the 4x100-meter relay and a runner-up effort with the mile relay. He also turned in a second-place finish at 110-meter hurdles (14.43) at a rainy John McDonnell Invitational. At the Arkansas Twilight, Cross posted a season-best 13.78 and finished third in the finals of the 110-meter hurdles. He qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary in the hurdle event. Cross finished 30th overall during the qualifying heats and did not advance to the NCAA Championships in the event. As part of the Razorbacks' relay crew at Penn Relays, Cross was part of a fourth-place finish with the sprint-medley relay and a fifth-place result with the 4x200-meter foursome. He was the lead-off leg for the 4x100-meter relay that ran to a runner-up finish in a time of 39.49 at the SEC Championships. The Razorbacks' sprint relay earned All-SEC Second Team honors for its effort. Cross was also part of a 4x400-meter relay team that finished fifth at the conference meet. Cross qualified for the NCAA Championships as a member of the 4x100-meter relay and just missed advancing to the finals after a ninth-place finish in the semifinal round. He helped the team to a season-best 39.29 performance and second-team All-America accolades.

2010 || INDOOR: In his first season, Cross competed primarily in the 60-meter hurdles and as a member of the 4x400-meter relay. His season-best finish in the 60-meter hurdles, first, came at the Arkansas Last Chance, where he also clocked his personal- and season-best time of 7.78. He clocked a prelim time of 7.82 at the Arkansas Last Chance. Both times were NCAA provisional-qualifiers and 7.78 ranks No. 2 on Arkansas' all-time list. He clocked his first NCAA provisional-qualifying time of 7.91 to finish fourth at the SEC Championships. He was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team for his performance. He earned the first All-America honor of his career at the NCAA Championships. He finished 10th in the prelims with a time of 7.82. OUTDOOR: During the outdoor season, Cross continued his work in the hurdles and as a member of the Razorback relay teams. He began the season with a third-place effort in the 110-meter hurdles and a ninth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles at the Razorback Spring Invitational. His season-best time in the 110-meter hurdles of 13.90 came with a runner-up performance at the Arkansas Twilight. It marked his first collegiate clocking under 14 seconds. At the Arkansas-Texas dual, he was part of the 4x100- and 4x400-meter relays that each crossed the line in second. He ran the lead-off leg to push the Razorbacks to a first-place showing in the 4x100 relay at the Arkansas Twilight. At the SEC Championships, the 4x400 relay scored for the team with a seventh-place finish while the 4x100 crew finished just outside of points with a ninth-place finish. Cross competed with both relays at the NCAA West Prelims and helped the 4x100-meter relay team qualify for the national meet with a season-best time of 39.95. The foursome closed out the season with a 20th-place finish in the preliminary round of the NCAA Championships. Cross' season continued with a gold-medal run in the 110-meter hurdles at the USA Junior Championships. He crossed the finish in a time of 13.64 running at the junior-hurdle height. He just missed qualifying for the finals of the 400-meter event with a ninth-place finish in the prelims. At the World Junior Championships, Cross capped his season with a  fifth-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles after clipping one of the barriers late in the race.

AT NEWPORT HS: Cross posted prep bests of 14.01 in the 110-meter hurdles, 36.99 in the 300-meter hurdles, 53.42 in the 400-meter hurdles, 22.09 in the 200 meters and 48.47 in the 400 meters. He was the 2009 Arkansas State Champion in both hurdle events. He clocked times of 14.01 and 37.20, respectively, to win his state titles. At the Arkansas Meet of Champions, he clocked times of 14.08 and 36.99 in the 110-meter hurdles and the 300-meter hurdles, respectively, to win both events. Cross' 300-meter hurdles time of 36.99 broke the Arkansas Meet of Champions record and the overall state record. The previous record of 37.04 was set by former Razorback Sam Glover in 1998. Cross is a three-time all-state honoree and holds the Newport High School record in the 300-meter hurdles. He was an honors graduate of Newport High School with 3.95 GPA. He was a member of the National Honor Society and also lettered in basketball.

PERSONAL: Born May 31, 1991, he is the son of Kevin and Cheryl Cross. He is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
