2012: Megan Pearson made 28 appearances and 18 starts in her first year at Arkansas. Towards the end of the season Pearson earned the first base position with solid defensive work during conference play. Pearson collected 151 putouts and four assist at first base. She recorded seven hits while scoring one run. She had a solid performance in the 8-1 victory over No. 3 Alabama where she went 2-3 at the plate including a double.

HIGH SCHOOL: A standout hitter for Centerville High School, Megan Pearson earned second-team all-state honors from the Ohio High School Fast Pitch Softball Coaches Association in 2011 after batting .456 with 41 hits and 16 RBI. She helped the Elks and head coach Paul Martin to a 20-8 record and the second round of the Ohio State Tournament Playoffs district bracket. The squad was also co-champions of the central division of the Greater Western Ohio Conference. Pearson was named co-divisional athlete of the year and was an all-division and all-conference first-team performer at first base. As a junior in 2010, she batted .434 with 43 hits and 31 RBI and was on the first team of her all-division and all-conference squads. Pearson held a batting average of .400 and had 34 hits and 23 RBI as a sophomore in 2009 to earn all-division first-team accolades.

PERSONAL: Born May 28, 1993, she is the daughter of Bruce and Mary Sue Pearson. She has an older brother, Andrew. Pearson is majoring in kinesiology.
