FRESHMAN (2009-10): Dannica Brennan had an impressive freshman campaign with the Razorbacks. At the 2010 SEC Swimming and Diving Championships, Brennan set the school record in the 200 back with a time of 1:58.71 in a time trial. She finished the season with seven top-5 finishes including two first places. Brennan placed first in the 200 back in dual meets against Utah and Vanderbilt. She also competed in the 100 back and 200 IM at SEC Championships. AT KINGS AQUATIC CLUB: Brennan is a backstroke competitor who swam for the King Aquatics Club. Brennan was a 2008 Olympic Trials qualifier in the 100 and 200 back and the 200 individual medley. PERSONAL: Hailing from Great Falls, Mont., Dannica Belinda Brennan, born March 18, 1991, is the oldest daughter of David and Laurie Brennan. Attending high school in Maple Valley, Wash., Brennan was involved with DECA and received honors for her stellar academics. Brennan chose Arkansas because of the swim team and the coaches. She is studying kinesiology at Arkansas. |
