FAYETTEVILLE - University of Arkansas head men's basketball coach Mike Anderson met with the media on Monday to discuss the Razorbacks' upcoming game against Texas A&M scheduled for Saturday at 8 p.m. at Reed Arena in College Station, Texas.
"Now we get a chance to open up SEC play, and we open it up on the road," head coach Mike Anderson said. "Obviously we would love to open it up at home, but we get a chance to open it up against a team that has just joined the league in Texas A&M."
Anderson spoke about what he expected of the Razorbacks (9-4) coming into the SEC opener against the Aggies. He talked about Texas A&M's athleticism and the difficult task of playing on the road in conference play.
Anderson then answered questions from the media about playing at Texas A&M, on cutting down on Razorback fouls, the recent freshman contributions and the overall conference schedule.
