SEATTLE, Wash. - The University of Arkansas women's track and field team traveled its distance squad to the Husky Invitational this weekend, bringing home a new school record in the 3,000-meter run.

This marks the second week in a row the No. 6 Razorbacks have broken a school record on the road. Last weekend, the distance medley relay team of Grace Heymsfield, Chrishuna Williams, Stephanie Brown and Dominique Scott set a new record of 10:57.15 at the Armory Invitational in New York.

This week it was Scott and Heymsfield at it again. Scott broke the 3,000-meter school record with a time of 9:02.33, followed by Grace Heymsfield with a time of 9:05.16, also better than the previous school record of 9:10.62 set by Christine Kalmer at the New Balance Invitational in 2007. Scott ranks third in the NCAA, while Heymsfield's time ranks fifth-best in the nation.

Diane Robison finished the 5,000-meter in 16:14.54, her second-best career time. Freshman Sandie Raines also competed in the event, recording a time of 16:22.71. Rebekka Simko competed in the mile, finishing 10th in her section with a personal-best time of 4:46.62.

The No. 6 Razorbacks will take a weekend off before gearing up for the Southeastern Conference Championships February 27-March 1 in College Station, Texas.
